Royalties

Get paid, transparently

Every stream is tracked back to a real number you can see. No black box, no vague "industry standard" deductions.

How royalties work

DSPs pay RedSpaceMusic for the streams your music generates. We calculate your share, apply any collaborator splits, and update your ledger — automatically, every reporting period.

DSP reports revenue

Each platform sends usage and revenue data on its own reporting schedule.

Splits are applied

Your ledger — and any collaborators' — updates based on confirmed split percentages.

You request payout

Once your balance clears the minimum threshold, request a payout to your chosen method.

Royalty flow

Full statement transparency

Every dollar is traceable back to its source.

By store

See exactly how much each platform — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music — paid for your catalog.

By territory

Break earnings down by country so you know where your audience is actually paying to listen.

By track

Compare performance across your catalog, release by release, track by track.

Payout methods

Payout methods & speed

Choose the payout method that works for you. Minimum thresholds are kept low so you're not waiting months for money you've already earned.

  • Bank transfer, PayPal, UPI, and wire transfer supported
  • Minimum payout threshold as low as $50
  • Weekly payouts on Pro and Label plans

Payout questions

Once your balance clears the minimum threshold, request a payout — batches are processed weekly on Pro and Label plans, monthly on Starter.
Royalties tied to an unresolved split are held in escrow until all parties confirm — this protects everyone's share.
On flat-fee plans, no — you keep 100%. On revenue-share plans, we take a clearly disclosed percentage instead of a subscription fee.
